Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten

VPK Program Fees 2026–2027

To participate in Florida's Voluntary Prekindergarten program, a child must be four years old on or before September 1 of the current school year.

Important: The VPK voucher covers the standard VPK instructional program from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Additional care outside those hours is not covered by the voucher.

Wrap-Around & Extended Care Fee Schedule
VPK Wrap-Around Care $350 per month 11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
VPK Wrap-Around Care & Aftercare $500 per month 11:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.

Additional details:

  • New-student application fees are non-refundable and must be submitted with the application.
  • The K–8 returning-student application fee is waived when the application is received by February 12, 2026.
  • Applications received after February 12, 2026, are subject to the applicable fee.

Schedule and payment details:

  • Regular aftercare is available until 5:30 p.m.
  • Prepaid rates require payment at least one week in advance.
  • Students may purchase lunch or bring lunch from home.
  • The Monday–Thursday late-pickup fee applies after 3:15 p.m.
  • The Friday late-pickup fee applies after 12:15 p.m.

Athletics, Clubs & Academic Enrichment

Participation details:

  • Innovation Lab is available to selected middle-school students participating in competitions.
  • After-school sports programs include activities such as Intramurals and Shape Up and are available to students in Kindergarten through Grade 8.

  • National Junior Honor Society fees apply to selected students.

Important Information

Financial Policies

Tuition Payments

Tuition payments are due on the 1st business day of every month. Payment will be considered delinquent after the 20th day of each month.

Late Payments

A $25.00 late fee will be applied to accounts that are not paid by the 20th of each month.

Scholarships for Families with Multiple Students

1st child: up to $250 a year — for students in 4th grade through 9th grade.
Each additional child: up to $500 a year — students in 4th grade through 9th grade.

Online Payments

AdventistSchoolPay allows you to pay tuition, make other payments, and make donations from the comfort of your home.

Other Forms of Payment

We accept cash, credit cards, and checks. All checks must be made out to Forest City Adventist School with the student's name written on the check. Contact the finance office for additional information.

Returned Checks

A $35.00 service charge will be applied to each student's account when a check is returned by the bank.

Device Fee (6th & 9th Grade Only)

Students in grades 6th and 9th will be provided with a device to support their academic learning. The total cost is $800. A $300 initial payment is required prior to the first day of school, with the remaining balance of $500 payable in 5 monthly installments of $100. In the event the student withdraws from the school before all 5 installments are paid, the remaining balance shall become immediately due and payable. Upon payment in full, the student may retain the device.
